We stood with our neighbors during the Christmas weekend

As'Salaamu Alaiykum - 

You must have heard that the IS group called for something bad at the churches this weekend. We, as Muslims, completely reject all their messages and to show support to our neighbors a few of us from the ICNA Harrisburg group and other volunteers went to 2 of the area churches during the Christmas weekend and stood by them.

In the morning at 8:30 a few of us went to the Market Square Presbyterian Church in Downtown and showed them our support. Then a few more families joined us at the Brethren Church in Mechanicsburg. It was a wonderful gathering and we had great conversations with our friends at these churches. Above all, this is the right thing to do and thanks for all those who came and spent time with our friends at these churches.

May Allah accept our efforts and guide us in His right path.
